Zach Norman is a worship leader and songwriter based out of Atlanta, Georgia. From 2010-2013, he spent time touring the U.S., leading worship with the band Seventy-One at Liberty University. During this time, he led worship for 125 different churches and venues, went to 14 different states, and gained the invaluable experience of engaging and leading people to Jesus in a variety of worship environments. In August 2013, Zach was the grand prize winner of 104.7 the Fish Atlanta’s Compassion International Opening Act Contest, receiving the opportunity to open for Switchfoot and Third Day at Celebrate Freedom and Phillips, Craig and Dean at 104.7 the Fish’s Birthday Bash. Currently signed to Red Tie Music, a publishing company based in Lynchburg, VA, he is continuing to invest in writing songs for the Church. Zach and his wife, Katie, reside in Atlanta where they attend and serve at Passion City Church.
Zach sets himself apart by not only having a heart to lead worship, but he feels called to teach it and pass it on to others, that they would do the same and impact generations to come. His heart is to inspire people to have a passionate devotion to Jesus through a life of worship, and his songs are an expression of this. Through his songs, he hopes for people to deepen in their knowledge of Jesus, so that they would feel His power and presence in their lives.
Zach wants to come alongside your ministry to serve with you and create an environment that welcomes people to worship. His desire is to inspire your people to worship Jesus wholeheartedly and unashamedly. He wants to be a catalyst with you to change people’s lives through the transforming power of Jesus.
“Zach is not only an extremely talented musician with a great voice, he also understands the role of a worship leader. He has worked phenomenally with our staff to lead our students based on our specific needs. It’s an honor to share our stage with him.”—Andy Jones, Middle School Director, North Point Ministries, Canton, GA
“Working in Christian radio, we receive numerous demos of budding young musicians with varying talent levels. I can honestly say that Zach is an incredibly talented musician, singer and songwriter. He is also uniquely gifted at leading people to the throne of God in worship. It’s a rare gift that I’ve seen in the likes of Chris Tomlin and Kristian Stanfill. Zach’s passion and talent are surpassed only by his love for the Lord and for his desire to bring Him glory!”—Dan Ratcliffe, Creative Services Director, 104.7 The Fish, Atlanta, GA
“Zach has an authentic energy that naturally commands the attention of the room when he leads worship. He leads with boldness and does a great job connecting the hearts of people to the songs we sing and the God we sing to. Something that we appreciate about Zach is that after services are over, he is always eager to get off stage and connect with people in our church. In addition to being a great worship leader, it’s exciting to see Zach writing and recording songs for the church. God is doing big things through Zach and we feel blessed to have him leading worship regularly for our adult and student environments.”—Adam Courtney, Music Director, Journey Christian Church, Midlothian, VA.
“The highest compliment you can give a worship leader is that you would hire them to lead your own people. I would hire Zach Norman, because of his mix of humility and vision and his heart for worship and the Church. I’ve been blessed to watch Zach behind the scenes and see up close his talent and his drive to honor God through excellence. I’m excited to see God use him at churches and events across the country.”—Mark Artrip, Lead Pastor, Movement Church, Hilliard, OH
“I just so happened to preach a conference that Zach Norman and his band led worship at. As a speaker, I’ve worked with many bands at many different conferences. Zach and his band blew me away with their heart, humility, excellence, passion, and flexibility. It is rare that you get to hear a legit band who rocks, with a passionate heart to communicate the gospel of Jesus through worship, and who are a lot of fun to work with all at the same time. Definitely take a listen to their latest tunes, pray about it, and book them! You will look me up and thank me.”—Chip Dean, Middle School Pastor, First Baptist Church Woodstock, Woodstock, GA
“Zach is a gifted leader in musical worship. He brings a passion of the Word in each song he leads. His energy is contagious as well as his love for the church. I’ve been blessed every time he has led an event for us.”—Dave Snyder, Zach’s friend and mentor, Minister to Students, Crosspoint Church, Trussville, AL
“Unlike some artists, Zach Norman’s gifts extend far beyond his talents as a skilled songwriter and musician. He understands his role as a minister and is purposed to use any platform given to make much of Jesus and reach others with the life-changing message of the Gospel. His talent will capture you and his character will convince you of his effectiveness as a worship leader and artist.”—Travis Doucette, Instructor of Music and Worship Studies, Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA
“Living in the Atlanta area, Worship Leaders and musicians are a dime a dozen. It’s easy to find someone with a great voice and a good guitar rig, but finding someone with a servant attitude and a genuine heart for God is a little more difficult. I honestly feel like Zach is one of those rare guys. Zach has stepped in and served with us on numerous occasions at NorthStar Church. Not only is he a great worship leader from the stage, but he also was so easy to work with. He treated our volunteer musicians with such respect and dignity. We will continue to use him as often as we can. If you are looking for someone to come in and not only minister to your people, but also be a joy to work with…he’s your guy.”—Daniel Hoover, Worship Pastor, NorthStar Church, Kennesaw, GA
“As a student pastor, I believe it is vital for the youth today to truly encounter the living God. I am encouraged to see that the Lord is raising up modern day worship artists/songwriters who are fueled by His very Spirit to serve that purpose. Doubtless to me, Zach is one of those instruments in which God is using. Zach demonstrates humility and a servant’s heart as he uses his gifts. It’s an honor to have him minister to our students and they would agree!”—Pastor Turner Miles, Cornerstone Chapel, Leesburg, VA
“It was great having Zach lead worship for our high school chapel. His leadership style is a perfect mix of confidence, humility, and passion. It was obvious from my first correspondence with Zach that he is truly committed to excellence in all he does and it shows on stage and off. I hope he’ll be able to join us again in the future.”—Stephen Burton, Director of Spiritual Life, Mount Paran Christian School, Kennesaw, GA.
“It was a pleasure having Zach come and lead worship for our students. On top of being well-prepared musically, he came well prepared to lead. He also did a fantastic job connecting with our students, going out of his way to talk with them and hang out before the service started. I would highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for a worship leader.”—Tim Elrod, Service Program Director, Southside Church, Peachtree City, GA.
